I ordered them to stop my dog from licking the wound on his leg. He tried digging under a pile of firewood to capture the animal and ended up cutting his hind leg. As it began to heal, he couldn't resist the urge to lick it. Putting a cone on him doesn't work, he just bumps into things (table, walls, chairs and most importantly shins) until he bends the cone, breaks it and goes back to licking. Area coverage works better. He leaves him alone and doesn't feel stressed like when he has a cone with him. It weighs around 60 pounds and the measurements were high for the plus size, but as there is a slight stretch the plus size worked great. Don't let him lick his back leg. It was easy to put on, but I would imagine it would be difficult if it couldn't stand still while I put it on. The extra large size would have worked if I had just pulled out pajamas for him, but I was concerned. it will be a little loose and he will be able to reach the back leg.
