We had to use her instead of a shower as she had an amputation and prolonged use proved perfectly acceptable. Use a lotion as this can dry out sensitive skin a bit after a few weeks of exclusive use. It also does a good job washing your hair. I have bought hundreds of these for my family for military use and firefighting and keep them in my assault gear. They use very little water. The only criticism is that the amount of soap varies slightly from pad to pad. So if you use them individually on a blue moon, there is not enough soap in the pad. Buy them on sale and next time you don't have hot water for days you'll be glad you have them.
