EDIT: As of November 2016 this fan motor has failed. Served about two years. Excellent unit. It has been installed in the Frigidaire FFHT1513LW5 refrigerator for over a year and works great. Don't make too much noise. It just does what it's supposed to. To diagnose a problem with the original fan motor, I was fortunate enough to hook up another fan motor from a working refrigerator of the same model type. But just looking at the one that came out of the fridge and didn't work, you could tell it was shot because the case was literally cracked. It is very easy to replace the motor yourself. If you have one of those cheap Ikea tool kits in an orange box for less than $10, you can easily do this. Disconnect the power supply from the wall. Remove the back panel of the freezer and disconnect the motor. There are a few screws holding everything in place and a few cable connections that need to be unplugged. Change the fan from old to new. Replace the back and you're done. Usually lasts 5 to 10 minutes. Saves a lot of money. It's about $80 less than buying it locally, so I'm really glad I found such a cheap alternative. Have the same problem since I bought this other (other) fridge. I ordered another one with expedited shipping and it was fixed right away.
