I was able to carry my 8 lb kitten through 2 flights on it and will be using it for my upcoming 3rd flight. It is spacious, comfortable and practical with side, front and top entry. The side panels hold the shape of the bag so opening one or both zippers will cause it to collapse for easy storage. It's very durable and I don't have to worry about the bag falling on my cat when it's zipped up. The only thing that confuses me is that because it's so strong, you can't squeeze it under airplane seats without a lot of effort. It's quite stressful because I don't want the flight attendant to throw my cat off the plane because the bag doesn't fit. But with a lot of effort I managed that the bag barely went under water.
