Problems: 1) The jaws don't open wide enough. I measured two of my toenail clippers and they had a 3.5mm hole. The ClipperPro is approximately 2.5mm thick. Her jaws didn't open wide enough for some of my toenails (remember, like fingernails, toenails are curved when you look at them head-on). 2) ClipperPro claims a "Double Action Force Multiplier". Not really. The mechanical advantage was about the same as my regular toenail clippers. They came in 30mm and 32mm offsets, while the ClipperPro only had 20mm. By offset I mean how far the handles move when the jaws go from fully open to fully closed. The measurement is taken at the point furthest from the jaws. This means my series of toenail clippers had a mechanical advantage of roughly 8.5:1, while the ClipperPro was only 8.0:1 (higher is better). This is calculated by dividing the handle offset by the jaw offset. Please note that all measurements were taken with a ruler, so these measurements are not as accurate as if I were using a micrometer. As for using the ClipperPro, I found it a lot harder to clip my nails than regular toenail clippers.
