I'm serious. If you don't care about the LENGTH of the iron. This straightener is exactly the same width as all straighteners, only the "heating plates" are 1/2 inch wide, which for me means less heat-up time for my hair. but if you think about it, we all regulate how long we run the iron through our hair; I honestly don't see much of a difference. To be honest I was a bit surprised when I took it out of the box; however, the moment I started using it 1. I didn't have that panicked "I've been on these threads for too long" feeling. and wondering if I should skip a day and 2. it felt so damn light and more comfortable than my 1 inch mini. Find out, and I didn't have to worry about it pinching at all!
