This did not work at all for an energetic three month old kitten with excessive and demanding high pitched meowing. It did not reduce the meowing except for a couple seconds. He tried to remove the muzzle, on all three attempts to see if he would tolerate it. It was not a good thing to use on him, so I stopped. If I had needed this for biting, I would not use it either; I would just use the e-cone that I have from his neuter surgery.
