I like the tool. It's sturdy and appears to be of good quality for heavier construction work. However. There is no cap to cover the razor blade, so you need to turn the blade over to store in your tool bag or other place. And the little finger screw that attaches the blade plate to the shaft is difficult to tighten and loosen. This makes it difficult to quickly use the blade and then quickly stow it away. Although I bought it for home and possibly work, the open blade design (again, unless you reverse the blade) makes this tool a waste of time. time to find out. It reminds me of a utility knife that has to be unscrewed to replace the blade. except you have to do this after each use as you can't retract the blade like you can with a utility knife. Overall I think it would be a simple design solution if there was an interlock rather than wasting time. when disassembling the blade body to prevent the blade from accidentally cutting objects. So I'm only giving this tool 3 stars because of this poetry style blade design. It seems like the simplest tool design imaginable. If it had a cap it would be worth a 5 star rating. After all, it's not a difficult tool to start with! Hope this review helps you!
