Assembling this thing was the biggest problem in the back. There are vague photo instructions, but it's not immediately obvious which screws go where. After figuring out which screws go where, I still doubted myself when none of the screws fitted properly. For those of you facing the same problem, the solution is to force them. The holes that these screws go into are not properly threaded. Once created, they are coated with a material that is not considered when determining bolt size. If you force the screws through holes that are too small, the threads on the screws will strip some of this coating and thread the hole so you can insert the screw yourself. Unscrew a thread or two and try again to remove bits of coating in the holes, but with more time and elbow grease I was able to push them through. However, once deployed, the resulting connections are fairly secure. Once assembled, the thing is actually very good. Based on the way it's assembled I was expecting it to make a lot of noise, but once assembled and hung on a closet door it doesn't really make any noise. The screws keep the sides secure, and the unstable bottoms are made stable by inserting something into them. They'll probably be noisy if you leave them blank, but then there's no point in even having this thing. so I doubt anyone will have this problem. However, potential buyers should carefully consider whether your closet doors can use hooks over the closet. Some doors actually fit the closet easily and a closet door hook cannot be used on these doors. Closet door hooks can only be used on doors that are fully attached to the outside of the closet. I have several of each type and didn't notice until I tried hanging it on a closet door, which shrinks on its own. I had to move it to another. It comes with mounting hardware if you don't want to hang it on hooks. You can still mount it on a cabinet door if you use mounting hardware.
