Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ 250W 110V Ceramic Heating Element Thermostat PTC Insulated Air Heater - Fast Heating, Safe & Efficient by Cyndy Segotta

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed. while it works fine.

I received these (I bought two) in the mail today. I connected one to a power source and installed a computer case fan behind it to test the heater under load for a while. So far it works very well and generates more heat than I expected from it. My application would be to use them in my RV's "basement" to keep the plumbing and storage tanks from freezing during the winter months. I insulate the pump and tank area in the basement of my RV as much as possible with insulation and mount these heaters in insulated areas. These heaters are rated for 110v and that's what I wanted at the moment as I'll be parked in a 100 amp maintenance dock all winter. I'll probably stick with 12 volt fans for attaching to heaters as they don't move as much air as 110 volt fans and therefore the air they move leaves the heater warmer. I wasn't sure how much heat to expect from these 250w heaters so I also ordered the 750w version (which hasn't arrived yet). Now that I know what the 250 watt versions do, I think the 750 watt version might be too deadly. Please do not forget to! I'm going to heat a fairly small area with them and I think they'll do the job pretty well. If you buy it with the expectation of heating a room, car or any other area larger than, say, a large box, you will be disappointed. I hate seeing bad product reviews that talk more about an unsuspecting buyer than a real problem with the product itself. Have fun.
