Heats up quickly, good size. It rubs my bleached hair. My Hot Tools titanium plate iron slides easily through my hair, but these ceramic plates are terrible. My hair isn't even badly damaged compared to what I've done to it in the past! I straightened my hair with a titanium plate iron after trying it. Returned.
