Review on TestValet by Mike Bigglesworth

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tool if your organization has little technical savvy

The best part of using Testvalet is how easy it is to integrate across many different workflows and systems; we have our tests written and run from MS Excel and when they're complete, they are stored in a database that feeds an HTML report which is then published to an FTP site for others to access it. If you are looking for something that doesn't require much tech knowledge, this might be what you need. We had limited tech staff at our company and found this service to fill this gap. They were hired to do simple data entry into the system, but ended up adding more functionality than expected. This was good since I didn't know exactly what I needed the support team could do better than what I could do alone. They also created some custom apps for us that made our lives easier and more efficient. The best part of this product is its ability to run tests in parallel for multiple products at once. This allows one to save time when running large number of tests. I dislike that it's not possible to schedule individual jobs separately so you have to do everything all together - which makes scheduling very tedious. We use this software at work to automate our testing process and we are able to run hundreds of tests per day without having any issues.
