Okay, so my in wall air conditioning unit installed by my below average apartment complex maintenance men had serious areas not sealed causing a lot of hot air to come in the summer and cold air currently now in the winter. I'd lay in bed and see curtains move from air flowing in and around AC unit. I had to use all-purpose weather tape to seal around AC unit first and then placed this cover over it. First, the cover doesn't allow for the AC cord, so that took several attempts to secure it so cover would rest right. Next, it wasn't an easy slap it on because I'd secure it around 3 corners, or so I thought, and then as I was going to pull to forth it souls pop off. After being slightly upset with myself that this process was trying to outsmart me, I finally had all corners on the unit with cord inside. Finally, it comes with a bungee attachment To wrap around and secure even more, good idea, but it Would be better built into the fabric. I've had it on the unit now for a couple weeks and it hasn't popped off, so there's that. As for cold air stoppage I can't honestly say if it's the actual cover, the tape I sealed the unit with or a combo. I am not a fan of how sloppy it looks personally, but it's going to bulge to accommodate for cord sadly, so I keep my curtains pulled.
