I liked the look of these shoes and the reviews sounded good, but they smelled like chemicals right away. After airing them out for a few days, they still smelled too strong for me to walk barefoot. We had similar experiences with other shoes and my child's feet smelled strongly of chemicals. Since we know the skin is the body's largest organ and absorbs everything it comes in contact with, I'm sending it back. I would like to see more regulation of the chemicals used in the manufacture of children's shoes.
