This item will give your 1050s, 60s and 70s Christmas tree that vintage look you are looking for. These lamps can be both indoors and outdoors. Here's what I recommend to reduce frustration in dealing with them. Turn on the lights if they are NOT plugged in. It seems that when they are connected to the mains, when they are turned on, the fuses blow - and not just once, but about FIVE or SIX times! It was a big fat pain until I found out. but once they're up, they're worth it. There is an additional fuse at the notched end of the string. I used a butter knife to open the drawer and pull out the spent fuse. I bought extra fuses at True Value hardware store. Only True Value carries this mark. If you order a string of lights with the lights already installed, you can tighten them (but not overtight) before attaching them. They are easily attached to the branches of our living tree.
