VEVOR Engraving Vise (Pin Vise): My unit arrived with the GRS logo on the plastic knob next to the jaws. Being unfamiliar with the GRS hardware I will not comment on the finish other than these vises are well machined and assembled with very nice satin and polished chrome, no burrs or marks. All accessories fit as expected. and the movement of the jaws was so smooth as one might expect. There was some sticking and friction when rotating the top half of the ball, but since the whole ball can be rotated to any angle on the base (nylon? delrin?), I don't think it matters. In use, the two halves are joined together. One of the features that I appreciate about this product is the threaded holes in the jaws and the cap screws to attach them that come with the unit. You can create your own custom jigs out of wood, plastic, aluminum, etc. for anything you work on. For this purpose, several low-temperature molded reusable plastic products are sold. This unit is fairly heavy (about four pounds), so it's self-stable for easy assembly and bonding; and there is an even heavier version. If I were a professional engraver I would ask for the ability to attach the sphere to the base and screw the base to the worktable. A rotating upper hemisphere would make more sense to me then.
