You get what you pay for, so don't get too frustrated with the build support. There is a little game that made the setup process a pain. I used this small (portable) LG PF50KA projector, it only had 1 mounting point. Everything fits, but is completely stretched. I was even worried about this 6 pound device. I modified it a bit to get that thought. Install it on 2*4 slots between floor joists. This allowed me to alter the post to secure it at the top and also helped with installation as I was able to move it into place quite a few times.
