1- The device does not generate electricity when it is not charged. (Lamp) 2- Despite this, most digital meters cannot measure it due to the sine wave. (Analog meter could) I was ready to give a fiery 1 star review for the DOA device. Until I discovered that the 2 brand new GE halogen bulbs I had used to troubleshoot the unit were defective (what are the odds?). I tried the 3rd lamp, everything is fine. The seller should consider including this information in their description to save everyone the hassle.
