Slow loading and potentially dangerous. DO NOT BUY

When this thing worked it was very slow. Charging the Apple Pencil took several hours. I thought it would be handy to be able to charge an iPad and a stylus at the same time, but in fact it was almost as quick as just fully charging the iPad. then quick charge directly from the iPad. It takes HOURS to fully charge. It would be much slower than any of my other devices even if I used the same charger/chip. It's not the worst of it. I did use it occasionally though as it was easy to set up and forget, so one day I used it on one of my multifunction USB charging hubs and as soon as I connected the cable to the stylus I heard a little click and that noticed my phone, which was also connected, stopped charging. It was a pretty good and big USB hub with 5 USB options that I never had any problems with. It took a lot of plugging and unplugging and a bit of luck, but eventually the splitter worked again. I don't know what was wrong so I tried it with other products I've used. I connected every surge protector/power distributor with USB ports to this Apple Pencil cable and each went into safe shutdown mode. One of the Smart Connected actually rebooted completely and I had to reconfigure it and reconnect to WiFi and my Google house. After this experience I immediately threw the cable away. I was amazed that just one cable can do so much. At that moment I was just glad that nothing more dangerous had happened or that I hadn't completely destroyed anything. Just as I was about to post this I saw an even better review and this person almost broke their Macbook Pro because of this cable. This is not an isolated case. DO NOT ENDANGER YOUR EQUIPMENT OR YOUR OWN SAFETY. DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE. I just bought an extra Lightning cable and adapter and although it was more expensive it works and I've had no issues.

Pros
