When I first got this thing and started using it everything was fine. Charged my phone perfectly and seemed to work with no issues. But just a few days after receiving it, the charger started making that annoying high-pitched squeak every time I charged the phone. It wasn't very loud, but high enough that I could hear it even when there were other noises in the room (music, etc.). As soon as I took the phone off the charger the noise stopped. Put the phone back on it, the noise continued. Tried different cables, plugged it into the wall instead of a computer, etc. Nothing worked, no matter what I did, the annoying chirping continued. I ordered another one and had the same problem right after unpacking it. A piercing chirp while loading. So yes, the thing works, but it also makes annoying chirping noises, so don't use it in a quiet room. You get what you pay for I guess.
