If I had the choice not to start I would choose this one. This product stopped working after doing about 10-15 shots over 2 months of very very causal use and I had to return it. Didn't expect a Japanese made product to fail so quickly. Also, it only provided adequate illumination at a distance of about 10-15 feet, like a regular flash. Any further distance will underexpose your image, even if the distance is within the magnification range advertised by the product, and I had to MANUALLY increase the exposure in camera to assume I was compensating enough. So very disappointing experience for a product made in Japan. I've had other flashlights with a little less zoom and they last a lot longer (at least over a year), also none of them can live more than 2 years for just causal use (e.g. concerts and graduations) but they definitely can have it worked on more shots than this one before they failed and they didn't have as much underexposure as this one either.
