Great product! I've seen many people complain about wear and tear. Skates are not specifically designed for surfaces other than ice, so walking on them should be kept to a minimum. Also, if you put pads on wet skates between skates, they will absorb water. That means they stay wet longer and rust faster than if you just leave them untouched. Skates should be thoroughly dried and aired before wearing soft protection. If there is no proper skate floor, it means your rink is up to standard or you shouldn't be using skates for what you are doing.
