This bag is full of storage and yet will fit under the seat on an airplane. Larger water bottles fit into the side pockets more secure than most. I fit a laptop and 2 tablet easily into the back pocket inside the main compartment which still leaves plenty of room for a book or magazines and a zippered bag with snacks and a sweater or light jacket in the other part of the main compartment. Then there are plenty of other zipper places for your cell phone, wallet, passports and all the other things you want at your fingertips on a plane. I got the larger bag to big to fill and sometimes can't remember where I put things with so many choices. Only 2 complaints after numerous uses. The front zipper compartment has to open completely(which makes it easier for thing to fall out) as it has only one zipper from one side instead of 2 zipper pulls meeting in the middle to open it either way and main compartment zipper seems to be having some issues and I am nervous that it will stop functioning. I like the bag so much that I have bought a total of 3 as to give 2 as gifts.
