I thought it was a magnetic connector to allow my 8th gen iPad to work with a magnetic cable.

This article does not solve my situation. Does this seem like the complete opposite of what I need? Firstly, it's not a magnetic connector like I thought! I think I need an adapter to convert from USB to USB-C. The power supply is without USB-C and the other end of the cable is USB. NOTE: This is my second purchase to get an 8th gen iPad to not use the included cable and use the magnetic connector with the other end as USB-C to connect to the power bank. FOR SOME REASONS I CANNOT BUY SUCH DEVICE BUT I COULD WITH MY ORIGINAL iPad AIR WHICH I BOUGHT YEARS AGO. PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. THANK YOU MARK
