My set of Shibori dyed sheets!

I've been looking for a turquoise bedding set made of high-quality fabric for a long time. All of the sets I found in the color I wanted were either made out of cheap, crappy fabric or so insanely expensive that they were beyond my budget. Eventually it dawned on me to simply dye the premium white cotton bedding I already had. So I bought several packs of this one step turquoise tulip and mixed up the shibori style patterns on different pieces of fabric. Bedding Set. I LOVE how it turned out. So now I have a set of sheets, buying one already made would cost me a fortune. I had to make the color stronger than the instructions say (I used three packs of dye per 8 ounces of water instead of two) to get a deeper color. more intense turquoise color. I ended up spending about $25 paint on the entire sheet set, including 4 extra pillowcases. I had a few paint packets left over and used them to re-dye a black and white rayon gauze blouse. It turned out beautiful too. My next project will be a duvet cover to match the sheets. I love this paint! to re-dye a black and white viscose blouse. It turned out beautiful too. My next project will be a duvet cover to match the sheets. I love this paint! to re-dye a black and white viscose blouse. It turned out beautiful too.
