I bought it for my forest area. There are currently 4 sensors in use (4 more to be added). Love the fact that the base unit is battery powered (comes with an adapter to plug it in), the devices charge quickly and the settings are easy to set up. All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver. The mute option is a nice feature: the face display flashes to indicate which sensor has been triggered. They came together on their own, so there's no guesswork, and each has their own distinct sound. Sitting in the forest and not paying much attention, I suddenly get an alarm, see CH04 flashing on the display, and the sound rushes to turn it off (press and hold the mute button for about 3 seconds). Just walked 11 wild turkeys. These turkeys came back 2 more times and triggered some other sensors. If you want to spot wildlife, they will help you increase the area without having to keep your head on the ball. In the future we will drop the date to see how they survive the winter season mounted on trees.
