Updated Review: Only 3 months old and a small strip of vinyl came loose from the case. The material turns out to be sticking to the shell, so it starts to separate from the hard shell. The case will not be abused and there is no reason other than inferior adhesive and/or workmanship for this to happen so quickly. I would definitely not buy or recommend anyone. The sturdy case for my old iPad Air didn't last. Less than two months old and the blue vinyl strip around the edge is already peeling off the frame. One downside I've found is that it's not easy to get up when tilted horizontally or vertically, as it slips out of its "notch" designed to hold it in place.
