Review on 🐠 Tetra Whisper EX: The Ultimate Silent Multi-Stage Power Filter for Aquariums by Brooke Flora

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for my 55, easy install.

I've had a 55 gallon tank for a few years now and only recently my original ex70 whisperer that came with it started not drawing in or dispensing as much water as it did it should. I've tried everything I've tried to clean it, tried to make sure it cleans everything and it still wouldn't work at the highest level making my aquarium dirtier than it should and stressing my fish would have. I decided to just buy a new one and I already know how to use this particular model and I have spare filter cartridges for them so I just bought the same one. It's pretty easy to use, it's almost fully customized. When you take it out of the box, all you have to do is open the filter packs and put them back in place. You should place it at the back of the fish tank and connect the bottom that sucks the water. It comes with three different parts so you can adjust the height of the tank you use. I didn't use one of the parts because I didn't want it to go that far. Everything you do at this moment is connected to the network. If it doesn't suck up enough water to fill the tank and start on its own, you can simply scoop some water out of the tank and pour it into the tank. When I started it, it filled itself up and went straight away without any problems. This filter comes with two activated carbon filters which are not my favorite of these products as the clip at the top of these holders seems to be falling apart making it difficult to swap them out but you can still do it. I like to take them out and wash them every now and then and replace them every few months. Overall, my first one lasted a few years and I hope this one will last me a few more years.
