I've had a hard time working with this wax. First, do not store in a very hot place. These hard wax beads are nicely packaged and look like small white discs with a small hole on the back. When the packaging is opened, they smell sweetly of coconut. The online instructions say you can use the microwave, but the instructions on the packages just say to use the wax container. I used the microwave first which took at least 3.5 minutes to even melt these pellets.; complete melting within 1 minute, then so slowly. They evenly melted in a bowl to the consistency of sour cream. I suggest using it immediately because once it starts to cool it will become stringy when manipulated. Application was easy, just apply. I lifted the corner and pulled and the pain was no fun. I don't know where people get the idea that it doesn't hurt, but still. The bag says it's delicate, but that's not good. Although most of the hair was straightened. Stuck here or there, but mostly it helped. It comes off like a big hard piece. I used my candle wax melter and it slowly melted, keeping the wax warmer and smoother than when it was taken out of the microwave. However, this wax will not separate from what you used to melt, so use your containers wisely. Overall, he does what he has to do, chaotically and very painfully. If you're into this sort of thing all the time, I'd say it's a great product. For a casual user like me I would say.
