It's definitely warm and good for the snow, otherwise
I don't know how to describe it. The jacket is roomy. BUT. Sleeve openings are SMALL. That is very strange. My son, who has room in the rest of the jacket, has to put his arms/wrists through. Hopefully next winter. the rest should be, but I don't know how the holes for the sleeves will be. Otherwise it's definitely warm and good for snow.
