This fireplace turned out better than we expected. No assembly was required. Simply take it out of the packaging and plug it in. The heating is amazing. Our living room is approximately 340 square feet and is open to the kitchen. However, it keeps us warm when we are sitting in the living room. We didn't have to use our central heating and had cool winds up to 35 degrees in the last few days. The wood around the fireplace is very durable. It doesn't look like cheap chipboard. The fireplace itself is very beautiful. It looks like a real fire and really adds a nice atmosphere to your room. I highly recommend this fireplace. We are very happy with our purchase.
