Great fire pit, uses a lot of wood

Excellent fire pit, but be prepared to use more wood than a regular fire pit. The Solo stove burns very hot and reduces almost everything to ash. You’ll need to manhandle it to dump the ashes out after using. Mine is the biggest they make, so it’s kind of heavy. One suggestion to solo, imprint "caution hot” around the rim same as you do the brand name.

Pros
  • PROTECT SENSITIVE SURFACES WITH STAND: Get the most from your Yukon camp stove by being able to use it in more places than ever! With ample airflow, our camping accessories allow you to use your fire pit on more heat sensitive surfaces.
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be able to withstand extreme temperatures

So far, we have nothing to dislike about our wood burning heater. We used it last weekend when it was a bit cold and we wanted to celebrate our grandson't birthday after not being with him or his family for over a year. We were able to put our "fire pit" on the middles of our wooden deck; we put a grill mat under it to feel really safe and gathered chairs at a safe distance from each other and the fire pit, wrapped up in blankets and had a wonderful evening. And we didn't break any Covid rules!

Pros
  • This fire pit is perfect - great heat output, very sturdy, and a great value for the price! We love it!
Cons
  • The fire pit emits a strong odor, which may not be pleasing to some consumers

As advertised in my review

The Yukon works like they say it will and we used it right away. Only complaint is it dropped in price considerably 2 days later.

Pros
  • Its large size of 19.8 in x 27 in makes it perfect for larger gatherings
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be able to burn evenly, resulting in uneven heat distribution

Function as expected

Perfect and function as expected. Not totally smokeless as it depends on moisture of wood. Started up in a couple minutes. Just remember if you don't buy directly from Solo, they won't honor the purchase points on their reward program.

Pros
  • Solo Stove
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be suitable for use in high-altitude locations

Love the Solo Stove on chilly evening.

I am new to Fire Pits and this Solo Stove Yukon offers a safer option than other fire pits.It gets hot, but doesn’t burn the ground underneath. The embers and ash fall through to the base. The stainless steel will hold up outdoors and the cover looks great.Definitely happy we went with the 27 inch model and accessories.Looking forward to many evenings at the shore sitting in front of the Solo Stove.

Pros
  • The Solo Stove Yukon 2.0 is easy to clean, with a removable ash pan that catches all the debris
Cons
  • The smokeless design may not be as effective as other options

Nice, but not a lot of heat on cold days.

We use ours regularly and love it.We purchased the whole Yukon kit direct from the manufacturer. It's easy to start a fire, but do not expect to keep warm on a cold night as the fire burns mainly below the top. It also burns wood faster than a fire pit due to its design. While it is relatively lite, it would be nice if it had some kind of handle to make it easier to move and empty.

Pros
  • 27 x 27 x 19.8 inches
Cons
  • The fire pit can be difficult to move around once it is set up

Perfect warmth! in my review

This is an attractive, neat and easy to use stove. It looks great on the patio and light enough to take it camping too! The fire pit may not be able to heat up quickly enough for those who want to use it immediately.

Pros
  • The Solo Stove Yukon 2.0 is smokeless, making it ideal for use in areas with fire restrictions
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be able to heat up quickly enough for those who want to use it immediately

Worth the money…so far.

Only gave 4 stars for value because it’s so new. Heat output is outstanding, and smokeless once it’s burning hot. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Pros
  • Outdoor Heating & Cooling
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be suitable for use in windy conditions

Great fire pit good for me

Burns wood a a slower rate than I thought. Provides good heat. Bought the ring to set the stove on and the lid. Very happy Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The fire pit may not be suitable for use in areas where there are restrictions for burning wood

Easy to assemble in my review

Looks very nice. Fire starts up quickly. The steel unit does get pretty hot when logs are at full flame. Very little if any smoke when fire gets going well.

Pros
  • It’s GREAT!! Just sorry I didn’t see another add for $100. Off!!!!
Cons
  • Storage and upkeep can be a hassle for those with limited space

Good product on my review.

Good product but I was amazed to find that there’s no proper water drainage design. Water just accumulates at the bottom.

Pros
  • Family loves it!!!
Cons
  • Does this look like a smokeless pit ? Scam

Safe, Smokeless, and a Great Value

The best fire pit you can buy! Smoke is very limited once it gets cranking. Spend every Saturday night enjoying music, and calm discussion with my favorite people. (Me, Myself, and I)And best of all safe for placement on Decks.

Pros
  • Nice product came with a small dent
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for use in locations where open fires are prohibited
