So far so good. It works. The time will show. It seems to shut down if it doesn't detect any input for a minute, which is VERY annoying. I suspect a battery saving method? I wish I could be changed for 3-5 minutes. I don't know how long I have to charge it. My question went unanswered. The poor documentation doesn't say anything, so one would assume that means it stays plugged in until the charging light goes off. Well, mine never turned off so I don't want to charge the battery. Do you remember what you were doing back then? If anyone knows please let me know. The battery can be replaced without disassembling the entire controller, which is nice. The battery looks like a DS Lite battery. I complain about the missing charging instructions and the annoying power saving mode. If you're not willing to pay a hefty sum for a new Nintendo or take the risk with a used one, this is probably your best bet.
