controller works fine on pc. I've played Final Fantasy XV and a bit of Ori and Blind Forest and it works really well. as some write in the reviews. The thumb sticks sometimes get stuck and you can hear a small squeak here and there. but there's nothing a little wd40 can't fix. Maybe they forgot to oil the sticks during the manufacturing process? Who knows. Anyway, it's not that hard to fix. open and lubricate. the task is solved.

The battery is replaceable. Basically I give it 4 stars for issues with shutting down after about a few minutes of no input. I assume this is a power saving method. I wish I could be changed maybe 3 to 5 minutes. Joysticks aren't the smoothest, but the controller can be disassembled. I plan to clean the joysticks and apply some lube, although this is minor. This device has worked great for 2 days. Then the control sticks began to squeak and get stuck in the up and sideways positions. I plan to keep it in hopes that it will wear out and stop this, and it's also the only controller where the joysticks actually work with gradual input rather than just a touch movement from 0 to 60 or 80 percent of the signal to go. I've been doing some post-sale research on third-party Wii U Pro controllers and this brand has popped up alongside an official Nintendo product quite a few times. It appears to be just as well built as the Wii U gamepad itself, which is rather thin, light and "hollow". Small Phillips screws on the back panel made disassembly easier - I put a small amount of grease under each joystick, wiggled it in circles, and the squeak was gone. Pros: It looks the same as the original Wii U Pro controller, size, grip everything, so very comfortable.
