These spools are ideal for storing multiple skeins of yarn or other yarn. I have quite a few skeins of DMC Floss and each skein is perfect for one spool. This allows me to keep my floss clean and tidy and makes finding what I want a lot easier, making cross stitching a lot easier and more enjoyable. They're easy to label, write down the thread number, and the included ring allows you to store everything in one place. It has definitely made the cross stitch work a lot easier and more enjoyable. If you have a lot of yarn I would recommend buying a few as they look a lot better than paper spools.
