Doesn't work with my radio

Bought this headphone/microphone for my Cobra 350 radio. It doesn't work with my radio. Can you tell me why? It looked like this in the ad. (I need to know why this isn't working with my 350 radio. What will work?) {Still waiting for an answer.}
