I bought this around November 2011 and as the winter got colder I had to remove the lens and camera as I don't really like photographing in winter. Other than that, I didn't use this lens very much, but once I did, I couldn't believe how good it was. I was able to count shingles on a pine cone in a 100 foot tree 250 feet from my house with the sun behind the tree. I could tell you from 350 feet away if the license plate screw was pan head or Phillips. This item is of good quality. The bokeh is definitely a bit harsh, but the PP will fix that. I took this lens to the track and got some phenomenal shots of cars. I haven't really had the chance to use this thing for good video but like I said I've had limited use of the lens but it's almost summer now and I'm definitely going to be using this lens for the heck of it. Oh and I got it for 1799.99 from Revain, I think they upped the price -_-. One more thing. that's what matters. The lens hood is also pretty cheap to me, very thin but does the job. Overall an excellent lens, bloody expensive. I'm just an amateur so don't expect too much from this review. I bought this lens because I never wanted to worry about PF and after taking some shots I forgot what PF actually looked like.
