So many aerator options make it difficult to choose. But I chose this one for two reasons. First, it's not the cheap plastic you find at any hardware store. I used to only buy these and you get what you pay for. The last two models I had were models that went from jet to spray. Although they work for a while, the venting mechanism takes its toll, causing leaks and degrading spray quality. This model does not leak and appears to be very durable. Second, I chose this model for its mechanism. I figured a button instead of a pull control would make for a better experience. It's really a smooth transition from jet to spray. I don't feel the need to turn off the faucet just to change the atomizer like I used to do on cheaper models. The range of motion is also full as advertised. I only have two "minus points" if you can call them that, and they're rather preferable. First, the head isn't graceful if you look for it. Unfortunately, my faucet and sink are too small, so many of the fittings look oversized. But I got used to this new size of flat sink aerator and it works great. Second, the jet/jet is not as powerful as the cheaper aerators I've used. For example, if I turn it on at full power and tilt my head, the beam is not straight, but with a slight bend. I've seen this issue in other reviews but wondered if the faucet itself is to blame. Although I can't explain it exactly, the aerator seems to "bubble" the water more than the standard nozzle, so the power is reduced. This was a little disappointing as I like to shake the dirt off the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. But I find that I can live well with changes. I find it uses less water and my faucet isn't as noisy now as it used to be at full throttle. I also no longer risk jumping in the water every time I wash dishes. I can put my hand on the maximum spray setting and the extra "bubbles" keep me dry as the water doesn't ricochet off me. Overall I am very happy with this quality purchase. Definitely recommend and buy again!
