I wore a headlamp when running early in the morning when it was still dark outside. I wore it to see what was in front of me and as a protective device so others could see me. The headlight was inconvenient and didn't illuminate the road well. I bought these as a replacement. He had fairly good reviews and a large number of purchases. I've used it several times and I love it! The front light is incredibly bright! It illuminates everything in front of me. The red light from behind is good because if I have to walk along the side of the road, the cars see me. It is very comfortable to wear and hardly slips when running. The only thing I have to complain about is that the straps always come loose at the front when tightening. I can put them back on, but I'm always afraid they might come off while running. This is a great light for a runner!
