So I just started making glitter glasses. I decided I would start with a cheap material before using the more expensive epoxy because I was bound to make mistakes and didn't want to waste money. I made my first few with these and they were all wobbly. Didn't make up for the drought at all. I figured it was just user error as I'm still learning but decided to try the more expensive stuff because I couldn't figure out what could be causing this. Of course, I've made several cups with higher quality epoxy with no problems, leading me to believe that the epoxy was the problem. I now believe that you are fine if you just do things on a flat, level surface. But since I've used glasses that freeze when the electric cup rotator is turned on to prevent dripping, that just didn't work. Moral of the story: not good for tumblers, good for other things.
