Review on KeepKey Simple Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet by Michelle Moore

A paperweight is a terrible product at best!

Unfortunately I have to return this junk. where to start The hardware itself is beautiful, durable, and comes with a braided USB cable. But this is about the quality and characteristics of the product. The screen is unfortunately very nice and big, but it's a waste of good space because you can't do anything valuable with the hardware itself, as everything is fully controlled by the software. The software is the biggest problem here. It runs entirely and exclusively in Google Chrome as a web app, which, by the way, Google already deprecated in 2017/2018. In fact, many Reddit users are concerned that once Google flips the switch, the web app will become unusable, and if you rely solely on KeepKey, your funds will be gone — unless you restore your mnemonic in a different wallet then you must be wondering why you bought KeepKey in the first place, aside from the fact that it generates a 12-word key for you from hardware. The app is very buggy. Sometimes the loading time is quite long, which makes you worry that there is something wrong with the hardware, or you get a few errors like "Application in conflict" when actually nothing conflicts, or you get a message about "KeepKey not found " Error. There is also a large ShapeShift ad at the top, which isn't what you would expect for what you paid for, but fine. My biggest concern is the software, which is built on top of Google Web Apps. What happens when Google officially ends support I absolutely do not recommend buying this device.
