I think electronics are such a commodity that we can still have good radios for $15. Maybe it's over. Paid $29.95 at the end of November 2019 - weird $5 less so quickly, bad for me but good for current buyers so it's a much better deal now. Well anyhow, I did a lot of research after spending a few hours as usual and found it to be what I need. I want a manual tuner, not digital - digital isn't always the best choice. The tuner often rotates to cover the reception area, which I like as it makes it easier for you to find and tune into channels. FM works well. AM has some difficulties, but that may be due to my position. It does what a radio is supposed to do. Sometimes I'd like to tweak the high frequencies to roll them off a bit, but there's no control over that. I'll only be using around the home, so I won't need batteries, but if I were to use outside of the home I'd like the batteries to be AA, not D, or better yet, the modern rechargeable lithium batteries common for flashlights - maybe Maybe one day that will be the norm. I would give 5 stars if it cost less than 20€.
