Very well built. The arms bend in any direction you want, but stay exactly where you place them. I can't believe it took me this long to get some helping hands but I couldn't be happier with this particular one. Highly recommended for anyone involved in soldering electronics. It even comes with an extra clip in case something happens to either of them. I personally don't use a magnifying flashlight, but it's bright enough.
