This doorstop works well. It feels well made, the parts don't rattle or anything like that. The foot will surely fall to the ground and usually stay there (depending on how you set it up. Here's a tip that worked for me: if you place it too high over a door, the foot won't stick to the ground very well. So before you drill, attach the base plate to the door, slide the leg out and make sure it's at the right angle (you know it'll stay stable once it's in place) I got it Set a little too high as you can see in the video but it still works the way I want it to. If I were to do it again I would set it 1/4" lower. It's quite noisy when it's on hits the plate after you step on it and it retracts (as you can hear in the video) I bought this exact model in two colors for two different doors and the video I posted was with a different color ( satin nickel), but both doorstops work en equal, which benefits the manufacturer.
