If it's so beautiful, why didn't it get the full 5 stars? One of the reasons: I had to modify the firing pin a bit by bending it by hand to make contact with the bell. It didn't ring at all until I bent it. I definitely saw someone who thought they had a defect because of that. Now it works great! The included small rubber adhesive strip feels nice and ensures that my bars don't get scratched by the metal strap. It even comes with a small Allen key, another nice touch that shows the company has thought this through. Everything about the bell and its hardware appears to be well built and I suspect it will last a very long time (if not forever). Note: the bell comes with 2 different metal straps for attachment. If you don't have a children's bike, use a longer bike. Installation is very simple: attach the non-visible side first, then slide over the bar, attach the side closest to you and hook. Tighten the top screw until it is snug but not too tight or the bell will not ring. Anyone can install this in minutes.
