I just got this thing and set it up today. Functionally this HDMI switch is great. I have not used it much yet but so far, so good. I previously had a cheaper switch that I got from Monoprice years ago which worked ok but this is definitely better. Looks and sounds great and switches with ease. I only have one major complaint and it is a complaint I never thought I would have about an electronic device… the red LED on the front of this thing is the brightest LED I have ever seen. It’s very distracting because it sits just below the TV and aside from lamps in the room, this LED of death is the brightest light in the room. I wish I was kidding. I didn’t know they made red LEDs that bright. It’s like a mini sun burning a red point of light into my retinas. If anyone knows of a way to tone this thing down please let me know. Thanks.
