So I bought one of these back in March 2021 and it has worked great up till last 2 weeks, it started like flipping to a black screen for a few seconds then back to whatever was on and it constantly do this. I posted a question about it, if there was anything I can do. Right away they told me what to try and none worked and right away they gave me the option to refund or replace! This one worked, and it was able to power via USB, so I saved an outlet on the power strip.One negative, it seems to be built to explicitly wait for a digital signal. In my case I was trying to use a VGA-to-HDMI cable and the KVM wouldn't register it.Fortunately the dock had a DisplayPort and I was able to use a spare DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter. I use this to input 5 HDMI devices into my TV. It has a cord to allow powering with 5V. When you power it, it activates the auto-scan function: it will scan all channels periodically and if you are watching something, it will black out during the scan; this is very annoying.
