Everything works as advertised, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the switch will automatically switch to whatever device is in use. For example, I have a Nintendo Switch, an XBox One S, a Playstation 4 Pro, a Playstation 3 Slim, and an XBox 360 Slim. Whichever device gets turned on, the switch will pick that port. So the only time I ever need to manually change the inputs is if multiple devices are turned on at the same time (which is almost never the case, since I don't tend to play on multiple devices simultaneously). So I have decided to keep the remote control in the box, as my particular usage doesn't even require it.
