A good friend of mine helped me find a job when I needed it most. After a few years and a new higher paying job I decided to pay him back with these shoes which he originally had but they were worn out. I thought it couldn't be a better gift and of course he was surprised I got it, especially since I spent almost $150 on a gift for him. But his gratitude for the shoes was a sign I made the right choice, and it was the least I could do to repay the years that had allowed me to regain my financial position. It's also a really good hiking shoe, so that's a plus for both of us.
