I wear size 9½ women's shoes and my husband wears size 10 men's shoes. These socks fit us both comfortably. They are a neutral beige that can go with his khaki or brown pants as well as my jeans and leggings. They are long enough to extend 5½ inches from the back of my shoe past my ankle. I can wear them with my hiking or casual shoes and my husband can cross his legs and still have his feet covered. Obviously we haven't decided who's going to keep them in their sock drawer yet as they're comfortable and well padded for work. Shoes, boots or sneakers. I don't know what the fiber content is but wool is a blend and also spandex or something makes them fit better so they don't sleep. However, the more often I wear them, the more they penetrate my shoes from the heel area. I don't like to stop taking off my shoes and putting on my socks. It's annoying. The quality seems good, I just don't like them being stuffed into my shoes. They are made in China.
